Competency Ordered For Fox Lake Woman Accused Of Aiding In Murder

(Fox Lake) A competency exam was ordered Tuesday for a Fox Lake woman accused of helping her son hide the body of his girlfriend. Marjorie Jones attorney requested the review which was opposed by the District Attorney. DA Kurt Klomberg said this was a ploy by the defense to postpone the week-long jury trial which is scheduled to commence January 22. The findings of the competency exam will be reviewed next week. The 65-year-old is charged with a felony count of Aiding a Felon in connection the December 2016 murder of Sesalie Dixon.
