Administrators, district school board and design team members have published the priority list anticipating active community development. The first priority is to create a community campus by building needed facilities and amenities. Number two is to expand hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) opportunities for all students. Third is to address students’ social needs – including poverty, mental health – with community collaboration. Priority four is to offer a wide variety of course offerings and co-curricular activities. Number five is to develop and expand community partnerships. The sixth and final priority is to implement and sustain up-to-date technology within the schools.
