Columbus School Board Resolution Opposes Voucher Expansion

4/12/17 – The Columbus School Board approved a resolution this week that opposes any expansion of private school vouchers in Wisconsin. Board Vice President Cindy Damm, says the two-page resolution will be going out to district legislators and residents asking for a fair set of rules for public and private school funding. The school board has a Committee on Governmental Concerns that works with legislators on school funding issues. Damm says that Columbus is unique compared with many state districts because it has four private schools.
