Cash Bond Set At $5,000 For Fox Lake Speeder Suspect

(Fox Lake) Cash bond was set at $5,000 dollars Thursday for a Fox Lake man who allegedly led Dodge and Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies on a high speed chase. Ryan Brown is facing felony charges of Second Degree Reckless Endangerment and Fleeing. In March, Brown reportedly told deputies his girlfriend was in the vehicle with him and urged him not to stop because she had several outstanding warrants. The vehicle Brown was driving was damaged by the push bar from a Dodge County Sheriff’s Sergeant squad car during the pursuit. Brown allegedly reached speeds of up to 112 miles an hour on Highway 151 when Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies were pursuing him. The 32-year-old was apprehended when he showed up at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac to pick up someone that was being discharged. Brown was out on bond from a Sheboygan County case at the time of pursuit. He’s charged with Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia in that case. Brown is facing the same felony charges in Fond du Lac County and currently has a jury trial scheduled for June 20. Brown is due back in a Dodge County courtroom next week for a preliminary hearing.
