Brownsville Company Seeks To Bid On Trump Wall

3/4/17 – A Dodge County company is interested in building part of the massive wall that President Donald Trump proposes for the U-S/Mexican border. A federal website says the Michels Corporation of Brownsville is among 265 firms responding to a initial solicitation for bids to design and build the two-thousand mile wall. Michels’ chief legal counsel has not commented. Initial reports say it would cost almost 22-million dollars to put up a combined wall and fence — but the Department of Homeland Security has only found about 20-million dollars so far that could be directed to the project.
