Beaver Dam Women’s Health 2019 Scholarship Announced

(Beaver Dam) Beaver Dam Women’s Health has announced its 2019 scholarship contest.  Three Beaver Dam-area high school seniors will be selected to receive awards with one scholarship recipient winner eligible to win up to $1,000 each year totaling $4000 in scholarship funds, and two Achievement Award winners will each receive a $500 award.  The annual scholarship contest is open to high school seniors who live and attend a public or private high school within 15 miles of Beaver Dam, including the communities of Waupun, Columbus, and Horicon.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must complete a brief form and write a short essay describing their college plans and how they intend to use their education to make the world a better place. Co-Founder of Beaver Dam Women’s Health, Dr. Ken Ostermann, shared his thoughts on the importance of the scholarship saying, “Each year I am incredibly impressed with the talented applicants who enter our scholarship contest. It is important for us to not only provide outstanding care for women patients and residents in the greater Beaver Dam area, but also to support local young people who will be the productive and forward-thinking leaders of our future. All of us at Beaver Dam Women’s Health are thrilled to announce our annual scholarship contest once again.”

Applications are now available and must be returned to the clinic by the April 15th Deadline with winners being announced in early May.  Application information is available online at bdwomenshealth.com or by calling the Beaver Dam Womens Health clinic at 920-885-6090.
