Beaver Dam To Vote On Parade Ordinance Restrictions

5/1/17 – The Beaver Dam Common Council will vote tonight on a possible chance to the city’s parade ordinance that would require a $50 permit and a one-million-dollar insurance policy. The ordinance would also apply to marches, run/walks, marathons, bicycle races, public entertainment, estate sales, political gatherings and any event that requires a temporary liquor license. Exemptions would be granted for funeral processions and military convoys. The council meets at 8pm at City Hall.
