(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam teen is facing felony Burglary charges for allegedly stealing a souvenir baseball bat from the high school. Cody Cassel appeared in Dodge County court yesterday. The 18-year-old was captured on video surveillance inside the Beaver Dam High School over the weekend. There was also minor vandalism reported, including damage to some doors and an office computer. A second person was identified but authorities say that teen never entered the high school and was just ticketed for trespassing. Cassel reportedly admitted the burglary to investigators. If convicted, he faces up to 12-and-a-half years in prison. A judge will decide next month if there is enough evidence to order a trial.
