12/27/17 – Officials at the Beaver Dam High School say staff and students have been cooperative during the construction period. Since ground broke last May, the campus has gone through an overhaul that is part of the $49-million dollar referendum approved by voters in November of 2016. Superintendent Mark DiStefano says teachers have been able to work through unexpected schedule changes. He says the construction is a distraction but the staff has done a great job of keeping the focus on teaching. Earlier this month, Building Committee member Joann Tyjeski said that the project is on pace to be complete by the third week in August.
