6/13/17 – The Beaver Dam School Board last night voted to stick with the food service provider they have had for the past five years. Taher Inc of Minnetonka, Minnesota was recommended by a committee with criteria based largely, but not entirely, on costs. Aramark ran a close second in the Department of Public Instruction-approved scoring. Beaver Dam School’s Director of Business Services Anne-Marie Woznicki says Taher was the only vendor that provides daily fresh cut fruits and vegetables. The $50-thousand-dollar contract is for the 2017-18 school year and includes an option for up to four additional one-year extensions.
