(Beaver Dam) The proposed 2019 Beaver Dam city budget has been posted to the city website. The $16.5-million-dollar document includes a tax levy of $10.57-million dollars, an increase of $231-thousand dollars, or two-and-a-quarter-percent (2.24%), from the current budget. No word yet on the mill rate. Last year, the tax rate was $10.16 per thousand dollars of assessed value, up 24-cents from the previous year. Budget deliberations begin in committee on Wednesday.
