Beaver Dam Man Placed On Probation For Role In Burglary

(Hustisford) A Beaver Dam man was placed on probation two years Monday for serving as the lookout during the burglary of a Hustisford residence. Kyle Malak pled guilty to reduced misdemeanor charges of Theft as a Party to a Crime and Criminal Damage to Property. 21-year-old Nicholas Lee of Pewaukee is facing two felony Burglary charges for allegedly entering the Lake Street property on two separate occasions between December of 2016 and May of 2017. During the May burglary, Lee was reportedly identified through security cameras. The home owner reported missing $500 cash, a TV, $20 in change and $50 worth of rare coins from both incidents. During the May burglary, Lee was reportedly identified through security cameras that captured the break-in. Lee allegedly admitted to investigators that he committed the crimes. The 19-year-old Malak was implicated on the security footage as well and also admitted that he served as “look-out” while Lee entered the home.
