Beaver Dam Man Gets Prison For Drug-Fueled Crime Spree

11/1/17 – A Beaver Dam man will spend six-and-a-half years in prison for a drug-fueled crime spree. Douglas Rinden was also sentenced Wednesday to five years of extended supervision. He pled no contest in July to two counts each of felony Burglary and Bail Jumping and had ten other charges dismissed but read into the record. The 30-year-old stole electronics and other items from several Beaver Dam residences in February of 2016 to support his drug addiction. Rinden also tried to break into the apartment of his child’s mother after she kicked him out and then he threatened to harm both her and himself.  Officers recovered some of the stolen items from storage units in Rinden’s apartment complex.
