Beaver Dam Man Convicted Of Stealing Jewelry

8/19/17 – A Beaver Dam man was convicted yesterday of stealing jewelry from a neighbor. Cody Reifsnider entered a guilty plea to felony Burglary of a Building or Dwelling. Beaver Dam police were dispatched after the victim reported that someone stole the items from a bedroom. The 30-year-old Reifsnider had a key to the residence. The victim also noticed that a juice box had been moved and fingerprints were taken. The results from a DNA analysis linked Reifsnider to the juice box. Investigators also connected him to the stolen items through a Beaver Dam pawn shop. If convicted, Reifsnider could face up to 13-years in prison. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered and sentencing hearing is scheduled for November 1.
