Beaver Dam Man Charged With Homicide In Overdose Death

(Beaver Dam) Cash bond was set at $50-thousand dollars Tuesday for a Beaver Dam man accused of supplying the drugs that led to an overdose death. Brian K. Larson II is facing five felony counts including Manufacture and Delivery of Heroin, Bail Jumping and First Degree Homicide by Delivery of Drugs. Dakoda Kline of Juneau died of a drug overdose on April 9. Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies and the medical examiner were called to the Oakwood Cemetery after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle parked overnight with its engine running. The 25-year-old was found dead slumped over the wheel after taking heroin allegedly supplied by Larson. The heroin sales were related to offenses that occurred in March and May of last year. If convicted, Larson faces up to 77 years in prison. A judge will decide next week if there is enough evidence to order a trial.
