Beaver Dam Man Charged With Burglary, Selling Heroin

11/22/17 – A Beaver Dam man is charged in separate cases with home invasion and selling drugs. Kyle Nehmer is facing one felony count of Burglary of a Building or Dwelling and felony Possession with Intent to Sell Counterfeit Narcotics. A residence on Norris Street in Beaver Dam was burglarized in May of 2016 and approximately $400 to $600 dollars was taken. The victims noticed that an empty cheese ball container that had held some of the currency was moved and fingerprints were taken. The results from the DNA analysis reportedly linked Nehmer to the container. In a separate incident that same month, Nehmer allegedly sold less than one gram of heroin to a confidential informant in a controlled buy with police monitoring the transaction. If convicted, the 27-year-old faces over 27 years in prison. Nehmer is scheduled to make his initial appearance in court on December 4.
