Beaver Dam Man Appears On Reckless Homicide Charge

(Beaver Dam) Cash bond was set at $50-thousand dollars Monday for a Beaver Dam man who made his initial appearance in Dodge County court on charges that he provided the drugs that killed a Reeseville man. Jason Thompson is charged with felony First Degree Reckless Homicide in the death of James Hook. The 62-year-old was found unresponsive in his apartment two years ago. An autopsy revealed heroin was in his system. Investigators say the 40-year-old Thompson sold the heroin to Hook. If convicted, Thompson faces up to 46-years in prison. A judge will decide next week if there is enough evidence to order a trial.
