Beaver Dam Man Accused Of Running From Police

(Beaver Dam) Cash bond was set at $15-thousand dollars for a Beaver Dam man charged after running from police following a traffic stop. Gregory Quinn is facing two felony counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver Narcotics and Escape Criminal Arrest as well as a misdemeanor charge of Domestic Abuse. On Sunday, Beaver Dam police were on the lookout for Quinn following a reported domestic incident he was involved in. His vehicle was spotted on East Third Street and the car was pulled over. When the officer approached the vehicle he allegedly smelt marijuana coming from the driver’s side window. Law enforcement handcuffed the suspect and while an officer was about to search him, Quinn reportedly said he was already searched then immediately took off on foot. Quinn managed to reach North Lincoln Avenue before he fell in the front yard of a nearby home. Once secured, a search was conducted and a clear plastic baggie that allegedly contained heroin was found. If convicted, the 34-year-old faces over 21 years in prison.
