(Beaver Dam) Organizers with Beaver Dam Lake Days say the three-day event will have a diverse lineup of musical acts and fun activities. The festival held on the shores of Beaver Dam Lake at Tahoe Park kicks-off with a traditional Teen Dance which is followed by live music from local and national touring acts along with kid’s activities, food, refreshments and a carnival midway. Lake Days Committee President Brad Engram says they wanted to get the publics input before deciding on any musical acts. He says a survey went out to the community for suggestions which indicated a want for more country music acts. In response, Engram says the band Saving Savannah was booked. Joining Saving Savannah is the Bobby Evans Band which will begin the musical entertainment on Friday at 4pm, Iggy Rae Vicious, the Boogey Men, the Vic Ferrari Band, the Mad Polecats and the Kings of Radio will also be performing among others. In the past, Lake Days had two-nights of fireworks but has been changed to just one night this year. During a recent appearance on WBEV’s Community Comment, Engram says it will be an incredible show and will set off more shells than in year’s past. Beaver Dam Lake Days will get underway on July 5th and run through July 7th. The entry fee is $8 dollars and includes unlimited carnival rides.
