Beaver Dam High School Students Participating In FFA Week

(Beaver Dam) Members of a student led organization at the Beaver Dam High School are celebrating National FFA Week. From February 17th through February 24, students from across the country hold special activities throughout the week that highlight the impact the club has on a local, state, and national level. Beaver Dam FFA Vice President Alexis Luedtke (pictured) says area members will be participating in dress up opportunities this week. They will also be hosting a staff breakfast on Thursday as well as holding an emblem hunt around the high school to educate other students on their group. The FFA helps prepare students who are interested in having a career in agriculture. During yesterday’s appearance on WBEV’s Community Comment, FFA President Lexi Lins said being a part of the group has been a worthwhile experience. She says the FFA has been like family for her and has helped her grow her as a person.
