Beaver Dam Establishment Raises Money For Breast Cancer Sufferers

12/2/17 – A Beaver Dam establishment has raised over $4,000 dollars to aid four local residents who are suffering from breast cancer. The Thirsty Beaver located on Madison Street started a breast cancer fundraiser back in 2014 that takes place during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month. Owner Dani Hansen says her sister being diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in 2012 was the reason behind the yearly campaign. Hansen says the funds are distributed to those who are in need of help during their battle in aiding with bills and other necessities. Hansen says the Thirsty Beaver does other fundraising efforts throughout the year to donate to veterans, the homeless shelter, the Dodge County Humane Society, the Dodge County Toy Bank, and Church Health Services.
