(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre is seeking Directors for upcoming slots in their production schedule. The theatre’s Show/Event Selection Committee is looking to meet with anyone interested in directing a musical, play, or other performance events. Booking shows through June of 2020, the theatre is seeking to approve productions in the areas of children’s musical ages 3 to 5 for July, middle school children’s musical also for July, a holiday production in December, a main stage production for early spring 2020, with space for other events possible starting in November of 2019 through May of 2020.
In order for a production to be approved, directors must have a producer and stage manager, while musicals must also have a vocal director, pit conductor, and choreographer lined up.
Anyone interested in proposing a show can meet with the Show/Event Selection Committee at 6:30pm on Sunday March 10th for proposals submitted by March 4th. Sunday April 7th for proposals submitted by April 1st. Sunday June 2nd for proposals submitted by May 28th. Sunday August 25th for proposals submitted by August 19th at the Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre Fine Arts Center.
