(Beaver Dam) President and CEO of Beaver Dam Community Hospital, Kim Miller recently had an opportunity to speak at the Vizient Fall Connections Summit. The summit was held at the Wynn Las Vegas last month, where Miller discussed the benefits individual health care organizations, large and small, can realize as part of Vizient’s trusted community of like-minded health care professionals. Miller currently sits as the Chair of Vizient’s Upper Midwest Board of Directors which consist of 19 members from Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Montana, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Pennsylvania and Florida. The board strives to improve the 35 health care organizations in the Upper Midwest Network more quickly through a commitment to act, learn and share together.
Miller said, having the opportunity to openly discuss shared challenges with physicians, executives and clinical staff is invaluable as they all work to provide the safest, highest quality care possible to those who entrust them with their well-being. Miller will also be a featured presenter at Becker’s Hospital Review 7th Annual CEO and CFO Round-table in Chicago, Nov. 12th through the 14th.
