(Beaver Dam) An open house was held Thursday at the Beaver Dam Community Hospital to celebrate the grand opening of their new Institute for Movement and Orthopedics. The new wing sits adjacent to the hospital on the first floor of the Vita Park Medical Building. It is designed to keep patients journey, from diagnosis to recovery, all under one roof. The Institute offers highly skilled orthopedic surgeons and physician assistants, sports medicine professionals, advanced podiatry services as well as rehabilitation specialists including physical, occupational and speech. Beaver Dam Community Hospital Director of Rehabilitation and Wellness Linda Klinger says the space has allowed the hospital to add more rehab rooms and install a state-of-the-art rehab gym. Doctor Joseph Puccinelli says whether a condition requires surgery, injections or physical therapy, patients can be confident they will receive the highest quality of care tailored to their specific needs.
