Beaver Dam Begins Process Of Filling Ward Ten Vacancy

10/3/17 – The Beaver Dam Common Council is going to fill the vacancy created by the unexpected passing of Alderman Don Neuert. Ward Ten is situated in the area around Wayland Academy. The council last night approved the advertisement of the opening. Applications will be accepted through the end of the month and the person selected would be seated at the first meeting in November. The term would run through the spring of next year. Elected officials are expected to select a council president at their meeting in two weeks. The council last night also adopted a resolution honoring Neuert for his years of service to the city. The resolution noted his professionalism and concern for the city and the positive influence he had on the growth and progress of the city.
