(Beaver Dam) Teachers and support staff in the Beaver Dam School District are in line to receive a pay increase next year. The school board last night approved a recommendation from administration to give an overall pay increase of no more than the Consumer Price Index of two-point-one-three-percent (2.13%) and grant what are called steps and lanes. Woznicki will build the projected increases into the budget for next year. The overall impact on the budget for steps and lanes is $450-thousand dollars but the impact on base wage can be negotiated with the teacher’s union for up to the Consumer Price Index.
