(Beaver Dam) There are opportunities at the Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre for people interested in getting a production on the stage. Managing Director David Saniter is inviting interested parties to attend a meeting next month with the theatre’s production committee for anyone interested in working behind the scenes on a musical, play or related event. Saniter says there is a show proposal form that can be downloaded from the BDACT website at www.bdact.org. There is also a list of suggested shows and a list of available stipends for directors and their team members. The meeting will be held Sunday, June 10 at 6:30pm but proposals should be submitted to Saniter by this Monday. The managing director will help with the proposal process, order perusal scripts, royalties and help plan a potential budget. Various stipend amounts are available for directors and other show leadership positions. Directors have the opportunity to earn up to an additional six-percent of the show profit.
