3/13/17 – The Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre hopes to be in their new theater early next year. The non-profit has raised just under $2-million dollars towards renovating their new theatre. The group purchased the former St. Patrick’s School, a move that will give them an increase of almost 10-thousand-square feet compared to their current location, plus more seating in the main auditorium. Managing Director David Saniter told us recently on WBEV’s Community Comment that another $200-to-$250-thousand dollars still needs to be raised. The group is hoping to have the theatre ready by next spring. For more information on the project and on donating, you can visit www.bdact.org.
