(Beaver Dam) Auditions are being held for the first spring main stage production at the new Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre Fine Arts Center. Neil Simon’s “Rumors” is a farcical comedy set in the 1980s centered around the shooting injury of the deputy mayor of New York and the couples who try to get their confusing stories straight about the incident before guests arrive for an anniversary party. The ten-person cast includes roles for both men and women. The show will run for seven performances between March 6th and March 17th. Auditions are tonight from 6pm to 8pm and again Saturday from 10am until noon at the new Fine Arts Center at 117 West Maple Avenue in Beaver Dam. More information is available at www.bdact.org.
