Bail Revoked For Fox Lake Woman Convicted Of Covering-Up Murder

(Fox Lake) Bail has been revoked for the Fox Lake woman convicted of helping her son cover-up the murder of his girlfriend. Marjorie Jones was free on a $25-thousand dollars cash bond pending a March 29th sentencing hearing. The Dodge County District Attorney filed the motion last week and the bond was revoked on Monday. Jones failed to meet with her probation and parole agent because of apparent transportation issues saying there was no way she could get to the meeting “any time soon.” According to the motion, the DA suspects that she would do everything in her power to delay her sentencing. The 65-year-old Jones failed to contact police after learning of the murder of Sesalie Dixon in December of 2016. Dixon was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the cab of a pickup truck owned by her son Laverne Ware Jr who has a two-week jury trial scheduled in April.
