Badger State Truck Show At Fairgrounds This Weekend

(Beaver Dam) The second annual Badger State Truck Show is at the Dodge County Fairgrounds this weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday – July 20-22). The family-friendly event will include an estimated 300 semi-truck tractors and trailers on-site offering an up close and personal experience with free truck rides and free musical entertainment. Free truck rides will begin at 10am on both Friday and Saturday morning.

The 2018 Badger State Truck Show is being dedicated to the memory of Ryan “Thumper” Mitchell, who was the Badger State Truck Show’s Vice president. Ryan lost his life in the fall of 2017.  Funds raised this year will be deposited in a trust fund for Ryan’s daughter and as the show grows funds will support mental health charities.

Last year’s inaugural event drew in over 1,000 attendees in the Beaver Dam and the Dodge County area. Grandstand admission is $10 for youth and adults ages 12 years and older. Attendees can enjoy free parking and viewing of the trucks on display all weekend long.

The Badger State Semi-Truck and Pull will begin at 6pm on Saturday evening, with the People’s Choice Awards announced before the pull begins. The non-judged truck show will be open to all commercial trucks. The registration and pulling fees are only $35.00 each for each truck. The Badger State Truck Show and pulls are open to all truck classes. Registration will take place from 8:00 am until Noon on both Friday and Saturday. Music is being provided by Sammy Ray and the Geoff Landon Duo, Westfield, Dixie Duncan and On the Rocks.
