Best Lemonade Ever
1 ¾ c. white sugar
8 c. water
1 ½ c. lemon juice
In small saucepan, combine sugar & 1 c. water. Bring to boil & stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature; cover and refrigerate until chilled. Remove seeds from lemon; squeeze juice and leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 c. water.
You can also use bottled lemon juice in place of the freshly squeezed lemons.
