APRIL 14TH: PECANS

Cranberry Pecan Bars

1 (15 oz.) box vanilla cake mix

1/3 c. butter, melted

2 Tbsp. water

2 eggs

½ c. toasted chopped pecans, plus more for topping

¾ c. dried cranberries, plus more for topping

1 (16 oz.) can cream cheese frosting

Preheat oven to 350°. Coat a 9 x13” pan with cooking spray. Prepare cake mix according to pkg. directions, using butter, water and eggs. Stir in pecans and cranberries. Spread in prepared pan and bake 20-25 minutes, until top is golden brown and bars are firm in the center. Let cool. Frost with cream cheese frosting and top with additional pecans and cranberries. Serves 24.
