(Beaver Dam) A bank and a non-profit have joined forces to help those displaced by recent fires in Beaver Dam. American Bank, formerly American National Bank, is working with St. Vincent De Paul to help those displaced by the fatal fire this past weekend at the Executive Apartments. The two entities held a press conference Thursday announcing that online donations can be now be made. The fund was given a kick-start by a donation from Tom and Judy Heffron of Beaver Dam who are offering a $5000 matching grant to the Emergency Relief Fund through the end of the month. In addition to making online donations at americanbankbd.com, funds are also accepted at the St. Vincent Thrift Store on Dodge Drive and all three American Bank locations in Beaver Dam, during normal business hours.
