(Beaver Dam) Moraine Park Technical College is offering 15 students a one-time scholarship thanks to the 2017 Man on the Ledge event. The family-friendly competition challenges participants in a series of lumberjack activities. Nearly $8,000 was raised for the scholarships which work to make education more accessible and affordable for students focused on engineering, manufacturing and technology. Those interested in applying must have a Moraine Park Technical College cumulative or high school GPA of 2.75 or higher and enroll in a minimum of six credits per semester. The application deadline is April 15 for high school seniors and May 26 for all other applicants.
