Girls State Tournament Preview
Horicon will take on Pacelli Friday in the state semifinals. The Marshladies are making their seventh appearance in the state tournament and first since 2011. The program has not won a title since they did so in back to back years in 2002 and 2003. Trailways South Player of the Year Jada Justman leads the team with 10 homeruns and 61 RBI’s. Horicon’s 26 wins this season is tied with Sun Prairie for the most among the remaining state qualifying teams. Pacelli is seeking their first title since 2015. You can listen to the game on 95.3 WXRO beginning at 8am. The winner will take on either Thorp or Weyauwega-Fremont in the state championship game on Saturday.
